Consigned Kit Checklist

A little preparation up front keeps your consigned kit project on schedule. Here's what we need to receive your kit and start production.
Required
Please provide the following.
- PCBs — supplied with rails and fiducials
- Components in good form — packaged in Tape & Reel, tubes, or matrix trays*
- Bill of Material (BOM) — with reference designators
- Assembly drawings
- Special tooling or fixtures, if required
- Gerber paste layer, if a stencil is required**
- Any special handling instructions or requirements
* Recommended overage quantities: passive devices, 2–3%; active devices, 1%; high-cost devices, one extra piece or 1%.
** Panelized Gerbers are required if PCBs are supplied in a panel layout.
Most delivery delays trace back to missing components or incomplete documentation — sending complete material quantities with your kit keeps your project on schedule.
